Portescap China Prototype Lab

Welcome to the new Portescap China Prototype Lab

Portescap is pleased to announce the opening of our new China Prototype Lab. In order to serve our customers better and offer them with a global support foot-print we have set-up prototyping capabilities in Shanghai, China. In-country capabilities will allow us to engage with you (or your local business unit) locally in China - provide local engineering and on the ground application support. Local engagement will help us make decisions faster and accelerate your design process.

The 28 m2 floor space currently (Phase I) houses assembly and test capabilities for the following product categories:
1） Brush DC (Ironless) Motors Ø 8 – 35 mm
2） Gearboxes Ø 8 – 35 mm
3） Encoders Ø 8 – 35 mm
4） Oher

These products serve a variety of end markets and applications – Medical, Laboratory Automation, Land Surveying, Miniature Pumps, Power Tools, and General Automation. Turnaround lead time for standard prototypes for the aforementioned products will be within two weeks. A team of two associates will provide local engineering support during the design phase - motor technology selection, product customization, life and reliability tests. Additionally, this team will be your local point of contact for any topics relating to current business – delivery, quality etc.
