Perfume Dosing Device

Perfumes typically contain more than 100 different fragrance components that must be dosed both accurately and simultaneously in order to increase production. Mini motors drive the perfume dosing systems and must feature high output power, moderate speed, and high torque in order to dose both powder and viscous materials.

A leading compounding machine manufacturer in Europe was seeking a cost-effective motor solution to power the piston and valve of their revolutionary perfume dosing system. Since each dose component requires two motors to dose all components concurrently, motor price in comparison to performance was paramount. Portescap met these customer requirements with cost-effective design featuring the Ultra EC™ 22ECP brushless DC slotless motor.
