New Year, New Look: Portescap Remodels Their Facility In West Chester, Pennsylvania

Over the past few months, our Portescap office in West Chester, Pennsylvania went through some major renovations! We worked hard in 2018 organizing, planning, and researching to transform our manufacturing floor. Our office focused on upgrades that will give us the best productivity and while meeting the needs of our growing team.

The scope of work for this project included reorganization of our open space, all new flooring and paint, LED lighting, upgrading our HVAC control system, and investing in ergonomic sit/stand work stations for the production support staff.  As you can see from the ""After"" photo, we gave our employees a brighter, reorganized space in which to work. In addition to repainting and redesigning the space, we did spring cleaning to remove old office desks and equipment that was no longer needed. Currently, we are working to upgrade our manufacturing cell work stations to improve both ergonomics and the work flow of product.

This was a team effort from all and we would like to thank everyone for their help. It took months of planning, organizing, and a lot of patience from all our employees - with minimal impact to our product schedule and deadlines. We are continuing our improvements in 2019, so stay tuned!
