At Portescap, we pride ourselves on commitment to quality and continuous improvement. In December 2022, Portescap participated in a nationwide event in India – the NCQC 22’ (National Convention of Quality Concepts). The theme was “Integrated Quality Concepts – The Gateway to Global Leadership”.

At Portescap, we have teams of workers, grouped into QCs – quality circles. These teams are nominated voluntarily, doing the same or similar work and who meet regularly to identify, analyze & solve work-related problems. We at Portescap sincerely take all the efforts put in by these groups to solve every day work-related issues through QC.

3 of our best QC teams were selected to participate in this competition, with 14 operators participating from different product lines who worked hard on resolving the issues & achieving remarkable improvements by identifying analyzing & resolving issues through the DMAIC process approach (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control).

We are proud to announce that we have achieved yet another milestone in our QC journey, by winning all three categories at NCQC ’22 at the National level in Maharashtra. Approximately 800 organizations, 2000 teams and 15,000 people participated in this event.

All the teams won the Par Excellence Award. ‘Par Excellence Award” is the top most award given at the NCQC Event ( National Level Competition of QC).
