It’s time for a Portescap Recap! From product launches and holiday celebrations to an exciting new step in our company journey, the first four months of 2023 have been anything but quiet. Let’s catch up on the latest in the world of Portescap’s mini motors:

• Say Hello to 5 New Products 👋 Our portfolio is continuing to grow with the latest additions to our Ultra EC^TM, SMS, and flat motor solutions! The 16ECP24 delivers 4.1 mNm of continuous torque and 7W of continuous power – a more than 70% increase in torque and a 40% increase in power in a package that weighs 28% less than similar competitive designs. The SMS B2010A4 (Size 20) bone mill surgical gearmotor and B0810A1 (Size 8) multi-tool surgical motor have been designed to withstand more than 1,000 autoclave and medical device dishwasher cycles while simultaneously providing the much-needed design flexibility for those within the surgical application space. The 45ECF features a performance-optimized design that delivers excellent high-power density and smooth output torque in a compact package, making it a perfect fit for A&D and robotics applications. Stay in the loop with all of our new products here!

• #EmbraceEquity 🌷 On March 8^th, we celebrated International Women’s Day by honoring the incredibly hardworking and talented women of Portescap. Employees celebrated by wearing shades of purple, pink, and white, exchanging small gifts and treats, highlighting key historical figures in women’s history, and even having an exciting day of bowling and lunch at our Mumbai location! However, while the celebrations were quite exciting, it should be noted that we firmly believe that IWD isn't merely a one-day celebration. Instead, it's a reminder that each day is an opportunity to drive toward greater inclusion and opportunities for women — thereby accelerating equity for all.

  

• Honoring the Planet on Earth Day 🌍 Earth Day is especially meaningful at Portescap, as one of our key values is Responsibility – responsibility to our people, responsibility to our planet, and responsibility to support the communities and industries in which we work. From handing out Earth-shaped stress balls in our North American headquarters and highlighting the official Earth Day video in local offices to encouraging personal action from our employees, we look forward to continuing our dedication to sustainability and environmental protection for decades to come.

 

• We’re Officially Part of the Regal Rexnord Family! Perhaps the most exciting news of all…Portescap is now part of Regal Rexnord! The next step in our journey has arrived. We look forward to bringing our innovative spirit, engineering expertise, and world-class miniature motors to the Regal Rexnord family. In the meantime, we’re celebrating new beginnings!
